LandQuest were approached by an agent who represented the land owners and who were looking to secure a development partner in order to secure planning permission on their site.

Following a comprehensive presentation of our proposed strategy to the land owners, we were successful selected from a number of other applicants to take the site forward on behalf of the owners.

Immediately after being selected as their preferred development partner on this site, we got straight to work compiling a detailed and comprehensive suite of supporting technical advice to support the submission of a planning application on this site.

Our strategy ensures that all parties interests are aligned. As their preferred development partner, all costs and associated risks are borne by Land Quest, with the land owners remaining in full control of their site throughout. All costs associated with the compilation of and submission of the planning application on this site have been borne by ourselves, further reducing the land owner’s risk.

Following the completion of a number of technical studies and reports on this site, and an initial public consultation, a planning application was submitted to Arun District Council in January 2021 seeking approval for up to 48 new residential properties, with 15 new affordable homes and a new dental/doctors practice for the community.

During the course of the application on this site a number of issues will need to be satisfactorily addressed in order to gain Officer and Member support, with the application due to be determined by Officers in April 2022.
